Removal take place at all towns (Onseepkans, Blyvooruitsig, Pofadder and Witbank.

Areas without solid waste removal

Solid waste is not removed at all communities on a regular basis. Illegal dump sites are removed from time to time with the assistance of contractors in operation within the Municipality, but assistance is need for the procurement of vehicles and machines.

Challenges

One (1) refuse truck is available for the services in all the communities.
Households complaint that refuse is not removed
Plastic bags for refuse are not distribute timeously in all communities.
Littering and Illegal dumping by inhabitants.

The outdated SDF does not address waste removal as a basic service. The table below
